What We Do
GTA Consultancy sits behind Beyond The Urban. Headquartered in Malta, we’re an independent energy management consultancy for homeowners, venues, and small businesses across Europe and the UK.
We offer three levels of service depending on what you need:
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
A straightforward assessment of your property’s energy efficiency, rated A to G. It’s a legal requirement if you’re selling, renting, or renewing a lease. We come in, assess the building, and you get your certificate. It tells you where you stand, but it doesn’t tell you what to do next. That’s where the other services come in.
Energy Audits
This goes deeper. We look at how your building actually uses energy, where it’s going, where it’s being wasted, and what your options are. Solar, insulation, heating upgrades, battery storage, tax incentives we map it all out and give you a clear report with recommendations. You walk away knowing what’s possible and roughly what it costs. What you do with it is up to you.
Energy Management Consultancy
This is the full service. We don’t just tell you what to do, we walk you through doing it. We start with a site audit, then write the technical specifications, go to suppliers on your behalf, get like-for-like quotes, cut through the compliance and permits, and hand you a signed engineering recommendation so you can make a confident decision.
You still choose, we never make the decision for you. Our role is advisory. But by the time we’re done, the decision is obvious.
Think of it as having a project manager for your energy systems who happens to be an engineer.
